With the ratings given by IIHS, the 2016 Honda Pilot received the highest safety award possible: Top Safety Pick Plus. This award is only given to vehicles that receive at least "good" ratings in all of the safety tests performed by IIHS.

The 2016 Honda Accord will be the first mass-marketed car to come with Apple's CarPlay. As today's consumers become more and more technologically submerged, Honda is doing everything it can to keep up with the demand. 

"At a basic level, customers have been asking us why can't the technology of the car work as well as the technology of their phones," said Sage Marie, Honda senior manager of public relations. "Connectivity is important to millennials. Our research shows that many of them consider their time in the car as a disruption to connectivity."

CarPlay will provide users with some of the popular iPhone apps, using a built-in 7" screen on the dashboard. Connected by a cable, 2016 Honda Accord owners will be able to make calls, send texts, use e-mail, and listen to music.
